This gothic metal band worked their way toward this full-length with three previous EPs, spanning 1999 to 2004. With 'Wasteland', their official debut, Atargatis showcases their already well-honed sound, a varied melange of atmospheric keyboards, orchestral arrangements, groovy riffs, angelic passages and moments of solemnity. Primary vocals are provided by Darkwell's Stephanie Luzie, with guest male voice coming courtesy of Darkseed's Stefan Hertrich.
